Husic Vineyards released the 2006 Husic Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon and our 2007 Husic Vineyards Chardonnay in April, 2009. We currently offer 2005 and 2006 Husic Cabernets, 2007 Husic Chardonnay and 2005 Palm Terrace Cabernet.

The year 2009 kicked off our Husic Vineyards Wine Club. After many years of requests to establish a wine club, we are proud and excited of its success. Being a wine club member is a wonderful way to stay in touch with Husic wines, the current releases and in addition, receive 20% off all wine purchases. Our three magical hillside vineyards, overlooking the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, again have produced incredible Cabernet with warm berry flavors most apparent in the first taste, followed with more savory cedar/tobacco/mocha notes mid-palate. This wine is dense and firm with tremendous flavor concentration, yet shows fully ripe tannins that gracefully yield to a lingering finish of sweet black fruits. This 2006 Husic Cabernet is a collector's dream...and will age beautifully for years to come. Our 2001 is truly unbelievable!

As always, the vineyards continue the tradition of producing even better wines. The 2006 Cabernet is our 6th release from our 9 year-old vines. We are extremely thrilled with this vintage and know you will be as well. Winemaker extraordinaire, Celia Welch, has produced this wonderful wine. Esteemed viticulturalist Jim Barbour and his team have produced the ultimate expression from our three steep, hillside vineyards.

We are proud to bring back our Husic Chardonnay. Having missed a year, we are so excited to once again offer you this 2007 Vintage. Harvested from two separate vineyards, one on the slopes of Prichard Hill, the other from Green Island, yielded small clusters of golden gems. The resulting wine shows the hallmark of extended lees aging; its creamy vanilla aromas are tightly intertwined with Pritchard Hill vineyard's trademark peach/apricot and tropical notes, and the Green Island's mineral and pear tones. The texture is full, rich and silky, showing ripe fruit notes and a sweet vanilla caramel tone throughout the finish.

The Husic Family continues to enjoy being in the wine business and producing "over-the-top" products. We often remind ourselves how lucky we are to have what we do. Our idea to plant vineyards on our Napa land has been one of the more fulfilling decisions we have made as a family. The most fulfilling decision was to have our two sons, FJ and Paris. They are now in 2nd and 3rd grade, growing and learning so much every day. They continue to help during harvest, assist with the labeling process and enjoy entertaining our much valued Husic clients.
