We can hardly believe it! We are now on our fifth release of our fabulous, estate grown, Husic Cabernet. It is an honor to offer you our 2005 Husic Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition, this year we are please to release our 2nd label, Palm Terrace, a 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon.

Our three magical hillside vineyards, overlooking the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, have again produced a beautiful Cabernet displaying elegant raspberry and dark chocolate aromas, with notes of baking spices, cedar and warm toasty vanilla, providing complexity. The texture on the palate is rich and satiny, with dark red fruits (dark cherries and plums) and displaying bright sweet character throughout the finish. Though the Husic Estate is known for dark intensity derived from its steep rocky hillside, this vintage displays a softness and elegance in addition to its intensity. This 2005 Cabernet is SPECTAULAR - NOT TO BE MISSED!

This 5th release from our 8 year old vines continues the tradition of "getting better with age". While sharing common personality characteristics with previous vintages, this new release displays all the complexity and structure of a California "cult wine". Our talented, winemaker extraordinaire, Celia Welch Masyczek has produced, yet again, an incredible wine. Esteemed viticulturalist, Jim Barbour, and his team, have produced the ultimate expression of our Dos Palmas Vineyards.

For the first time, we are proud to offer you our second label, Palm Terrace. This 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is also harvested entirely from the Husic Estate. This lovely Cabernet shows a lighter, softer side of the three Husic vineyards. The Palm Terrace Cabernet is made with the same attention to detail, and receives the same care in handling as is showered upon the Estate Cabernet. The aromas display an inviting array of red fruits in a simpler, more fruit-focused package. Slightly more refined than the fuller-bodied Estate Cabernet, this clean, lively, fruit-driven Cabernet is designed for early enjoyment. Act quicklyÖonly 300 cases were produced.

On a personal note, the Husics continue to derive great joy from our wine making experience. The years are flying by, and we are extremely proud of our attention to the details of producing the finest California Cabernet. This is a true labor of love. The popularity of the wine, and recognition of the name brand, has grown tremendously across the United States. FJ and Paris, our sons, continue to enjoy and learn the wine producing process. They partake in the fall harvest, help label boxes during bottling, and understand the importance of marketing everywhere we go!
