The Mohawk House, in partnership with Sussex County Freeholder Joshua Hertzberg, Husic Wines, and preeminent butcher Pat LaFrieda, will be hosting a wine dinner at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019, to benefit the newly created Youth Leadership Scholarship, offered by the Sparta VFW Post #7248.
“We’re thrilled to create this new scholarship,” Hertzberg said, “which will be awarded to a Sparta High School senior who exemplifies leadership and acts as a role model in our community.”
The Mohawk House has partnered with Husic Wines to hold benefit dinners in the past, but nothing on this scale.
